VERSION 1.0
INTRODUCTION:
This application provides access to rainfall data collected
by Little Rock Wastewater. Rain Gauge readings are stored in a database using the
GE FANUC iHistorian server software and are accessed via OleDB driver.
Previous days readings are also available on our FTP site in spreadsheet format.
TODAY'S RAINFALL:
When the user clicks the 'View Today's Rainfall' link, a gridview of the data from each rain Gauge is displayed. The rainfall is
measured in increments
of 1/100th of an inch for each minute of the day from midninght to the present time
of day. If there is a change from one minute to the
next, that cell is highlighted. The % field is a
measurement of the quality of the data. This will either be 100(good) or 0(bad).
PREVIOUS DAY/MONTH RAINFALL:
This tool allows a user to pick a day from a calendar and choose to view the data in detail for that day, in total for that day, or total for that month, per Gauge.
FTP SITE (Spreadsheets):
A link to our FTP site, ftp://ftp.lruw.com/raindata, which contains excel spreadsheets of
data. The daily data is a running tally in minute increments similar to the data above. The monthly data
reflects changes in readings in 15 minute increments.
